Lunar New Year!

Lunar New Year or Spring Festival is one of my favorite holidays when I can be with my family and celebrate with my favorite foods. In addition, I learn more about my Chinese culture and traditions, such as wearing red for good luck, eating noodles for longevity, and cleaning our house before the New Year to sweep away any traces of bad luck. This year, because of COVID, I celebrated it with some of my relatives on Zoom. My mom and I made nian gao, a sweet rice cake, and shared it with our neighbors, where we exchanged our food for the New Year (yum)! I wish you and your family a Happy New Year!
